Mark was one of the founding members of Chadborn Baker and Kearle Ltd which was formed when 3 friends got together in 2002 to form a Financial Services company that provided levels of customer services which were seldom seen in the industry.

In 2005, CBK Swansea was created to allow the firm to concentrate on working with clients primarily based in Wales, with Mark employing the services of a number of trusted colleagues to provide advice.

In 2008, a decision was made to expand the firm and Mark joined forces with Martin Rivers, another Financial advisor, who had the same vision of exceptional levels of services for clients and subsequently, CBK Wales was born.

Since then, CBK Wales and its advisors have been providing clear and concise financial advice and levels of customer service they believe all clients should benefit from, with Mark and Martin leading from the front.

Mark has a large numbers of clients from all walks of life, he has doctors, dentists, accountants, solicitors, civil servants, teachers, builders, plumbers and sportspeople all benefiting from his advice and exceptional levels of customer service.

Born in Port Talbot before moving with his Mother and Step Father to Swansea, he attended both St Josephs and Bishop Gore comprehensive school, before starting his working career.

Wanting to join the Royal Navy since he was young, Mark did so before being medically discharged after what was only a short period of time. He then literally fell into the Retail sales environment, quickly realising this was a perfect way for him to build his future, becoming one of the youngest ever Managers of Curry’s before joining Comet where he became a Senior Manager, followed by making a move into the Brewery industry, where he was fortunate to work with Bass Brewers, initially based in Yorkshire, gaining a promotion and moving back to Wales.

In the year 2000, Mark was made redundant and decided to re-train as a Financial advisor, as he believed this is where his future lay. Since then, Mark has strived to bring exceptional levels of service, coupled with clear and concise financial advice to as many people as possible.

Mark lives in Swansea with his wife Angela.

Having worked in the service industry for the majority of my working life, it was important to me when setting up CBK Wales as a team of financial advisers, that all of the clients who elected to work with us benefitted from the highest possible levels of service, and we strive as a team to ensure the client journey through the advice process is at a level I believe all people deserve.
