Martin served as a junior officer in the RAF Regiment and qualified as a financial advisor upon completing his commission in 1992.
He has carried out several roles within different small companies throughout the last 25 years, joining CBK as a Co-Director in August 2008.
As an Independent Financial Adviser, Martin gives advice in retirement planning, mortgages and protection, managing investments and wealth generational planning, as well as helping with long-term care funding.
Martin has recently taught his daughter to drive, and whilst this has reduced the use of mum & dad’s taxi, it has led to some sleepless nights. He is a keen runner, being a member of a local Welsh Athletics affiliated club, and has competed in several half marathons. In 2015, 2018 & 2019 he ran in Marathon Eryri in Snowdonia, which is an experience he will never forget!
I am so fortunate to help clients achieve their financial goals throughout their lives, it is such a rewarding and fulling role. Some recommendations simply reinforce the client’s own thoughts, whereas others, which often includes intricate tax planning, provides the detailed advice they seek.
